Send Tour Update
Asa just got back from a 2 week long tour in America with the Send.
The states they held events in were Michigan, Massachusetts, and New York; one of those cities being Springfield, which is said to be one of the most unchurched cities in America. On tour the mission was to activate the churches in those regions to unify under the call of the great commission, as we prepare to hold the Send arena gatherings in these regions. The fruit that they saw in just two weeks was beautiful, at each stop there were multiple salvations, Asa said that the most amount of souls saved they saw was in Detroit! Because this tour was mainly to encourage and activate the body of Christ, it was so amazing to see salvation go forth regardless in every place the team went. In New York, the main event they held was a Unity Gathering in Brooklyn, and the pastors were so grateful to the team for coming through and ministering. The main pastor had mentioned to our team that not many people come through New York to preach the gospel or minister, so they were so blessed that the Circuit Riders would come through. That night worship lasted 4 hours, and a man had come up and placed the drugs he had on him on the stage as an act of repentance! Such an incredible tour where God moved mightily!
Meanwhile, back home, Greenhouse was still happening, so I was able to stay back as baby grows and keep the flame stoked in our house of prayer. But also at the same time this tour was happening, our Carry the Love field gatherings began, first in LA, then in Oklahoma and Louisiana (which I ended up flying out to lead worship and meet Asa at). In LA we saw so many salvations and 2 people leave the first night without their crutches because the Lord healed them! In Oklahoma our team went door to door preaching the gospel and saw nearly 200 salvations in one day. From that festival there were 318 documented salvations, 10 baptisms and multiple healings! Oh the beauty of Jesus!!
The month of May is continually filled with more Carry the Love festivals, this time, internationally. With festivals in London (testimonies are beginning to come and absolutely blow our socks off), Budapest, and Mexico. Asa will be flying out to Norway, with the Send, to play guitar in one more gathering over there before coming home and being in baby mode. Since the Send Arena last summer in Oslo, there has been a fire placed on the hearts of Christians, mature and newly saved, to preach the full and complete gospel in their progressive culture. The response from Norwegians was so overwhelming last summer that YWAM bases in country had to begin expanding their buildings and bases to accommodate the influx of young people wanting to be trained in preaching the gospel! The harvest is so ripe and we are thrilled to be apart of it!
